Bradford is the fifth fastest growing city in the UK outside the capital and between 2010-2015, the city invested over £50M to regenerate and improve its core, with The Broadway a leading benefactor.

This modern shopping centre opened its doors in late 2015, transforming the retail offering in the city centre of Bradford, one of the five fastest-growing cities in the U.K. outside the capital.

Westfield developed the 50,200 sq.m. centre to provide double height units that integrate mezzanine levels, attracting a broad mix of national High Street retail brands. The property provides parking spaces for 1,300 vehicles.

Since it opened, The Broadway has established itself as the dominant shopping centre for the region’s catchment area, attracting rising visitor numbers and store sales. The next phase of this investment involves adding 3,700 sq.m. of space to accommodate a new multi-screen cinema and a food court.

It is fantastic. I’m just so enthusiastic about it. The moment I walked in this morning, I just thought ‘wow’. It is just so massive for Bradford. It has put Bradford on the map. It has just shown people can have faith in Bradford
