Meyer Bergman is writing a new chapter in Katowice’s modern day urbanisation.

Galeria Katowicka is an award-winning shopping centre that opened in September 2013 in the heart of Katowice following the redevelopment of the city’s central railway and bus stations. The project is the cornerstone of the regeneration of Katowice, the regional capital of Silesia. The investment also includes the development of a separate 18,000 sq.m. mixed-use building.

More than 200 Polish and international brands lease stores in the 47,500 sq.m. centre, which provides 1,200 parking spaces underground. Since opening, Galeria Katowicka has become the city’s dominant shopping centre, while visitor numbers have increased substantially, aided by the centre’s integration with the city’s main public transport hub.
